BOSTON, November 12, 2024 — CodaMetrix, the leading AI-powered autonomous coding company, has named Robin Lloyd as Chief Operating Officer to lead the company’s growth and operations efforts. Lloyd brings over 15 years of experience in healthcare technology to this newly created role, where he will focus on scaling solutions that maximize access to clinical data, expanding the utility of the company’s platform to products that will improve revenue cycle management (RCM) and enhance patient outcomes.
“We are focused on helping healthcare systems maximize their revenue cycle, which includes the ability to improve healthcare beyond the accurate management of valuable claims data captured at point-of-care,” said Hamid Tabatabaie, CodaMetrix’s president and CEO. “The path forward to realize the meaningful impact of claims data starts with the ability to scale while maintaining accuracy and reliability. Robin’s previous experience working with healthcare companies that are in growth mode, coupled with his familiarity with optimizing solutions that use dynamic data sets, uniquely position him to join CodaMetrix as we embark on a new chapter.”
Prior to joining CodaMetrix, Lloyd grew his expertise in healthtech, specifically in risk-adjustment and AI-powered clinical documentation, through leadership roles at Health Fidelity (now Edifecs) and Nuance. Most recently, Lloyd served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Product Officer at Spring Health bringing evidence based mental healthcare to large populations.
“For years, the healthcare industry has been discussing how AI and big data can transform healthcare, but few have come close to delivering substantial and meaningful solutions,” said Robin Lloyd, Chief Operating Officer, CodaMetrix. “Using AI to inform and apply sophisticated autonomous coding solutions to improve revenue cycle management and save resources for health systems is a logical first step that has the potential for far greater application. I joined CodaMetrix because of its leadership and technology that is poised to revolutionize how healthcare organizations can leverage AI to transform patient care, and I look forward to expanding our innovative product portfolio in this new field of autonomous technology.”
